When I found this video talking about women not acting like men I knew I had to share it with you.
We hear so much about being authentic (being ourselves). Acting like someone else is not being authentic. We need to find who we are and what we want to be known for.
Being ourselves is what’s going to help us be successful.
It’s true that as women we face challenges but these challenges aren’t anything we can’t overcome.
According to the National Women’s Council there are 8.6 million women business owners. That’s up 59% in the past 16 years.
As women we need to realize just how powerful we are. Once we do I believe those numbers are going to skyrocket.
Phil Dyer, author of the book “Wonder Women: How Western Women Will save The Rest Of The World” mentions several intersting things in his video interview. Take a couple of minutes to watch it and see what you think.
One of the things I found particualrly interesteing was that fact that Phil said women need to support each other and not tear each other down. Sad to say I have seen that happen.
In my book Sexy, Savvy And Successful – A Woman’s Guide On How To Start A Business, Gain Financial Freedom and Buy More Shoes! I don’t go into the support system that we as women need to cultivate. That’s one of the reasons I started this website.
I want women to be able to find valuable information whether they are thinking of starting a business or already run a business. It’s all about finding ways to gain more online visibility and build a community. As women building communities is what we do!
Part of building that community is having your thoughts and comments shared below so please do so before leaving. Remember you also get a link back to your website:)
