One of the ways I’ve built my online presence is by creating content on my blogs.
My goal has always been to create short micro bursts of information.
I have many discussions with businesses who are seeking answers to questions. What I’ve learned from these discussions is:
1) They don’t want to read long posts.
2) They’ve told me they only skim long articles
3) What they are looking for is answers to their questions. Ones they can start to implement right away and then if necessary dig down deeper.
One of the best ways you can answer questions is by creating a content strategy that will fill the needs of your readers.
Content can be created in many ways. You can blog, use video (vlog) use podcasts etc.
When I talk to clients about The Secret Equation To Attracting More Clients, it’s all about finding their P Factor. That will dictate the platform they feel the most comfortable with first and then I can move them on to others.
In order to make your website stand out from the competition you need to be creating compelling content that people will want to read and then share.
By creating this content you are keeping your site from being static. I believe it’s also a great way to not only have your online voice heard but build relationships with customers/clients/colleagues.
Where else can you virtually shake someone’s hand who lives on the other side of the world?
