Can you remember learning to ride a bike?
I can! My first bike was pink. I vividly remember my dad putting my training wheels on that bike. I couldn’t wait to start riding!
With my training wheels I felt I could conquer the world! Riding down the street I’d ring my bell and merrily go on my way.
It wasn’t long before I realized all the “big” kids didn’t have training wheels on. When I realized they could go faster and get farther than I could I knew it was time. Time to get my sister to help me master the art of riding a bike without training wheels.
Everyone I know started with training wheels. Taking off those training wheels meant I had to ignore my fear. The fear of falling. I didn’t know if I could balance the bike on my own.
Looking back I remember realizing you can let your fear hold you back or you can break free.
Fear wasn’t going to stop me!
When I got those training wheels off my dad bought me a metalic blue (they didn’t have pink) schwinn racing bike. I can still remember feeling empowered as I was riding it home.
Learning to use video without being in front of the camera is like having training wheels. You know there’s so much more that you can and will do. It’s just going to take you time.
That’s why this month I’m sharing different types of videos you can create where you don’t have to get on camera yourself. These are the types of video you can do with your training wheels on!
As I guide you in your video journey before long you will be taking your training wheels off by doing a face to face video.
Don’t worry. I’m going to help you achieve that!
For now today’s quick video is another way you can start incorporating video into your marketing strategy with your traning wheels on.
Your goal in starting a video marketing strategy is to start with training wheels and then break free!
As you get comfortable with the types of videos I’m sharing with you it will make that next level that much easier.
As an Award winning Videographer and Photographer I deal with people all the time who are camera shy and they all share the same fears. I’m going to share those fears with you and give you some solutions to them in a later video. Be sure to check back!
Remember that 70% of internet traffic is coming from video. It’sexpected to reach 90% by the end of 2014. I want to get you in video shape as soon as possible!
