Initially the QR code was developed by a subsidiary of Toyota. It was created to keep track of vehicles during manufacture.
When the QR code first started getting attention most people ignored it. They felt it was just another item to bother with.
However with the increase in mobile phones QR codes are gaining more popularity.
With an app you can now scan the code and you are able to communicate in a different way with your present and future customers/clients.
I’m sure you’ve seen scan bars on products. I know I’ve used the scanning app on my phone many times to check out a products pricing or to get more information.

I remember several years ago when the QR code was being talked about I quickly went out and started using this for my business. At that time people were charging to create these for you. Now you can create them yourself for free. You can even create unique QR codes to make yours stand out.
My business card has the QR code on it. In a video last week on “How To Magnetize Your Clients” I mentioned you should use the QR code on your car magnets.
