I have to say I love it when people succeed in their business. It’s even better when you see someone who is young go after their dream and succeed.
Today I’m sharing an episode of The Profit: Mr. Cory’s Cookies.
Marcus Lemonis called 13-year-old Cory a pint-sized entrepreneur.
What stood out to me was not only Cory but his mom.
She was ready and willing to stand behind her son so that he could make his dream come true.
As you can see from the video the company is going through some growing pains.
According to Marcus, this CEO is struggling with the fundamentals.
In the past, I’ve talked about making a great first impression.
I loved the fact that when Marcus met with Cory and his mother he had a suite much like one Marcus wears.
Cory has an image that he wants to portray for his brand and he was putting his best foot forward when he met with Marcus.
What about you? Do you carefully select what you wear when representing your brand?
One of the reasons I enjoy The Profit is because Marcus is always willing to work with those he believes in.
For example in the video you see him having a conversation with Cory’s mom after they realize she signed an agreement with a co-packer which seems to have been the wrong move.
Marcus comes right out and asks her if she’d like him to figure it out or walk away.
In the end, Marcus was able to resolve everything.
The chances of Marcus Lemonis coming in and investing in your business is slim.
What can you do to increase your sales and grow your brand?
First, you have to be visible and the way you do that is to use social media.
Many business owners get it but they struggle with building a business and their social media accounts.
