How technology has changed our lives.
If you’ve been following my posts you know I officially released my book: Sexy, Savvy And Successful – A Woman’s Guide On How To Start A Business, Gain Financial Freedom And Buy More Shoes!
This was my first book. Or was it?
Today I was in a car with some of my friends. We were talking about food and eating healthy. My girlfriend said one of her sons was allergic to gluten and she is trying different recipes with different ingredients.
I told her about this super yummy Millet recipe I had and then it hit me.
About 25 years ago, yes I said 25 years ago I wrote a cookbook that was for the most part gluten free.
My daughter was going through some allergies and I did the cookbook for her.
Back then you didn’t have the ability to self publish. The Internet wasn’t widely available.
I paid someone to do the cover of the cookbook and printed up copies.
Technology back then wasn’t readily available.
I had forgotten all about that cookbook until today.
When I got home I ran to the kitchen cabinet to make sure it was there. Yes it was!!
It’s funny that I hadn’t remembered writing that book. Maybe it was because I didn’t have it published? I don’t know. What I do know is what technology has done.
It’s enabled all of us to do things that 25 years ago seemed impossible.
Now the sky’s really the limit!
We are able to spread our creative wings in so many ways that we need to reflect on that and celebrate!
This is the cover to the cookbook from 25 years ago. My husband colorized the image and yes I’m going to use it.
I will publish the book on Kindle. I think that way you can look at the recipe on your tablet, computer or smart phone.
I knew this year was going to be great. I just didn’t know HOW great:)
More exciting things to come!
Here’s a question for you…..
Have you done something in the past that you didn’t realize was such a great accomplishment? Start thinking about it:)
