Wouldn’t it be nice to see into the future when it comes to your business. If you could you’d know the pitfalls to avoid and you’d have a more successful business.
Well, in a way you can look into the future by looking at the past.
When you see what others have done to be successful and you take note of the mistakes they’ve made, ultimately you can benefit.
That’s why today I’m sharing the Five Reasons Startups Fail.
Since it can be easy to “start a business” many people fail to realize that it is just that; a start. You need to know how to develop a business.
That’s where planning comes into play. Think about building a house. You wouldn’t start without plans would you?
Of course not. You want to know where your bedrooms will be located, how the kitchen will be designed. You’ll want to know the size of the rooms and so much more.
Your business is no different.
Planning is essential and no you can’t just go with your “gut” feeling.
Have you ever heard the term “no man is an island” this is especially true when it comes to your business. You need to collaborate and build business relationships. This is how you also get the word out about your business.
Think about the last time you went to a great restaurant. Did you tell other people about it? Sure you did!
In essence you were doing the marketing for that restaurant and free of charge.
That business benefited by your word of mouth advertising.
The same holds true for your business.
When other people have a great experience with your products or services they tell other people only you can reward them for it.
How? By offering the an affiliate program. An affiliate program rewards them by giving them a commission on any sales they make for the company.
This is like having an army of representatives working for you.
