Why? Because they are powerful!
You are having someone else tell your ideal customers/clients how wonderful it is to work with you!
How do you go about getting testimonials?
People may love what you do for and with them but they don’t necessarily think of giving you a testimonial so use the three letter word I’ve mentioned before: ask
It’s as simple as sending an email….
I’m not going to pretend it’s easy to have someone give you a testimonial even though they love you so you need to send out gentle reminders. Tell people you appreciate what they’ve said and would love to use it on your site to help others see the benefits of working with you.
Chances are the people who are giving testimonials will at some point want to get testimonials themselves. Didn’t think of that did you? You see if you are willing to give people testimonials it’s easier to ask for them!
You want to get testimonials for your book, services, products etc.
You want to make sure your website is set up properly with a specific page that says, testimonials. Give people the opportunity to see all the fabulous comments people have made about you.
