We all appreciate those who subscribe to our email newsletters.
They trust us to give them value when they do so and we need to deliver on that value.
The question comes up though, “are we annoying our subscribers”?
Do they ever want to put up their hand and say stop?
In this video I talk about the three tips to make sure that’s not happening.
Did you get the 3 tips? They are:
1) Let your subscribers know from the beginning how often you send out your newsletters you will have them anxiously waiting for it. That is as long as you provide excellent information.
2) Tell them that from time to time when you find a product or service on sale or of high value you will share that information with them. Never abuse this. If you do you will have people unsubscribing to your newsletter.
3) Ask for feedback. Send out a survey to your subscribers and ask if they find the information in your newsletter informational. Is there a topic they would like for you to cover? This shows you have a genuine interest in them and the time they are taking to read your newsletter.
Have you ever unsubscribed from someone’s list because of the frequency of their emails? I know I have.
