Content is anything you use to communicate with your potential customers/clients. It’s the message you are putting out to the world to market, advertise or share.
Blog posts are content. Email messages are content. Your newsletter is content.
Did you realize when you pin photos, videos, etc. that you are sharing “content.”
Your potential customers will find you because of the content you create.
Now that you know content is the message and medium you use to communicate with your potential customers what is content marketing?
Content marketing is using content to “market” to your audience. In other words, it’s your message. What is it you want them to know about you, your company or your products and services.
To have an effective content marketing strategy, your content needs to be compelling, engaging and make your target audience take the action you want them to take.
There is so much you can learn from it when it comes to using content marketing in your business.
If you need inspiration jot down 10 of your favorite blog posts from your favorite blogs. There’s a reason it’s listed as number one on the infographic.
Remember you want the information you write about to be relevant to your audience.
For example, if you have a blog that focuses on software then chances are you wouldn’t be writing about a recipe you found. That’s not what your audience is looking for.

There are so many ways you can write compelling content but the best way to do it? Create a schedule. You can’t leave it to chance. Once you have a schedule jot down your content ideas.
This will help your creative juices.
