Since the platform I was using is not mentioned here I’m going to assume it is in the 6%. That’s why I decided to switch to WordPress.
Here’s the information you might find even more useful.
How Much Do People Make Blogging?
5) *8% Enough to Support a Family
6) *81% Never Make $100 from blogging
7) *9% Enough To Sustain Their Personal Life Blogging 4-6 Hours a day.

At networking events when I bring up the topic of blogging most people say they don’t have the time or they see no benefit. Having one video on your site doesn’t mean you’ve tried implementing a online video strategy and neither does posting once a year, You will get out of it what you put into it.
Ask yourself the important question: What is the Goal of your blog?
Next ask yourself: Where does your business stand in relation to these stats?
We mentioned there are 31 million Bloggers but there are 42,000,000 Blogs in The US
How many people view Blogs on a monthly basis? 329 Million!
Pages viewed monthly is 25 Billion!
What about the amount of daily posts? That’s at 500,000!
Comments. Don’t we all want people to comment on our Blogs? Of course we do and people are out there commenting. That figure is 400,000!
It makes me think. Why do people comment? It’s because they appreciate what’s been written or maybe they disagree. Either way you are able to have a virtual conversation with people from all over the world via your Blog. These conversations are happening with people your blog is enabling you to “meet”. Commenting builds relationships and a community. For me this is one of the best benefits of having a blog.
Even though there are a large number of Blogs in the world it doesn’t mean yours doesn’t have the chance of being found it means you have to find out what your audience is looking for and then offer that to them.
Only you can decide why you want to Blog, how often and what you Blog about.
Having these stats shouldn’t make you not want to Blog it should spur you on to Blog!
